Aqua tots swim school

Chlovelle went for her first trial class at Aqua tots swim school.
The place is a 5 mins drive from our home, very convenient for us!
It is a indoor swim school with heated pool around 88-90 degrees (31C).
Chlovelle commented the water is very comfortable haha!
The whole environment is very well-maintained, the fees are not cheap but
considering that it is a small class group 4:1, plus the facilities there,
it is worth it.
Parents are able to watch how their kids from this glass…
Chlovelle was very nervous at first, but warm up very quickly after she sees that the
teacher is teaching the same things as what Ms Irma taught her.
That is her floating on her back.
She is in the Level 4 class, which the teacher teaches survival skills/strokes and kicks.
Very similar to what she have learn previously.
The teacher is teaching her how to climb out of the pool.
It might be simple for a lot kids, but velle, my dainty little velle, haha! She needs practice…

They are supposed to dive in and roll on their back to stay afloat~
I can say velle is very interested in swimming,
couldn't believe she can sit in the whole class ,with new friends and teacher, without crying lol.
I enrolled her immediately after the trial, and her first lesson will be on Dec!
Will probably stay in this school until it is hot enough to swim outdoors again,
hopefully Ms irma wants to teach again? heehee!

Last Swim Lesson

Summer holidays is ending! I cannot believe 3 months just pass by like that.
The kids have their last swim lesson with Ms Irma on Friday.
Chlovelle took a total of 16 lessons with her, and I would recommend Ms Irma
to anyone who wants to learn how to swim! I mean look at the results right?!
Besides our last swim lesson, Meiling organized a BBQ gathering before
school officially starts next week. So Friday was filled with lots of fun and laughter.

MORE swim lessons

We continued another 8 lessons with Ms Irma,
so happy to have her as their swim teacher because she's so great with kids,
and the little ones trust her so much...
I have to say chlovelle improved a whole lot and now,
she don't even ask for her float anymore.
Ms Irma have spilt the class into 2,
4 year olds in a group and two older ones in another.
So now, the 4 year olds sort of encourage each other,
and push each other to learn better.
Never regret sending for her swim lessons (:

Improving

Hubby have been sick over the weekends, and we didn't get to go out.
So i brought velle to the pool to practice more!
She is sort of the most timid one in her group :P
But practice makes perfect right?

6th Swim lesson with Ms Irma

Yesterday the kiddos had their 6th swim lesson with Ms Irma,
and we see big improvements!
So chlovelle start of being very scared of the water,
she don't dare to put her head in the water & she hates it when water goes in her ears.
Before every lesson she will sob quietly but i'll ignore it lol!
Anyways ytd after the lesson i went down the pool with the 2 youngest girls and they started
blowing bubbles, swimming under water to me after a lot of encouragement.
IT WAS SO COOL~
Big improvement from velle!

Swim lessons

Chlovelle have her swim lessons at GV pool on most tuesday and thursday.
That thursday we rush back earlier so we could go view a car (not so nearby)
Velle have not had her dinner so hubby went ahead with ST (thank you!)
After driving 30mins, he was told the car was sold WTF?
Anyways, our car finding journey is really sucky and tiring.
In short, our luck is like CRAP..

Swim lessons

Chlovelle went for her first swim lesson with her friends today.
Her swim teacher is non other than ms irma from bloomingdale and I'm so glad it is someone they know.
So danielle was telling me the main purpose for them to learn is not to swim like a pro,
but to learn basic survival skills. Makes a lot of sense to me (:
So today they learn how to read the height of the water,
how to hold unto the side of the pool, blow bubbles and kick,
and velle even put her head in the water which I'm pretty sure she cant do it with us.
So happy her swim lessons finally kick start! Happy happy day!
