Sea Life Aquarium Grapevine
3:38 PM
Last weekend we went to Sea Life Aquarium at Grapevine.
It is by far the most enjoyable aquarium i have been to!
Waiting for Daddy to set up her car seat.
Totally lovin' her osh kosh jumper i got from Target.
Casual floral
I'm like super happy because i love going to aquarium ( I dont know why also)
Went to Sweet Tomatoes for lunch first,
we are totally not the salad kind of person,
but when we are here we sort of love their caesar salad?
Buffet style, this is a portion of the food we eat.
I totally love their blueberry muffin, but i will picked out the blueberry.
Desert after our lunch!
Totally a treat for her, she don't usually get a cone by herself. Lol!
Hubby got one for himself too!
Their cone is miserably small, if you ask me.
Velle secretly swap her cone with Daddy's and feeling very happy about it.
Keep giving cheeky laughter
Look at her face man.
Sweet moments.
Anyway she took back hers, because there is chocolate flavor.
We bought the package to enter both attractions,
but at the entrance hubby couldn't find the tickets in his wallet!
OMG! Lucky i manage to dig out the receipt when we bought the tickets,
and we were allowed in.
PHEW~
Didn't manage to snap a picture of this whole area...
But it is built in a way the fishes are swimming in circles. LOL
Poor thing... they just keep swimming round and round and round and round.............
I happen to read a sign at this area, saying that flash are not allowed.
Oops, so from this picture onwards, it will be quite blurry.
I really like how each exhibit is at kid's eye level.
Quite awesome!
Ok... This isn't at velle's eye level,
but they is a stone at the corner, and velle can stand on it and peek in....
So kid's friendly!
A shark right?
Velle told me the shark is very sleep. LOL
Here comes the stingray~
We move on to the next exhibit, and we linger here for the LONGEST time.
I was quite fascinated with the kids cave.
The light grey stingray is so playful!
Is this the one we eat at chompchomp?
Our photographer
One of my fav area!
Inside this cave (around velle's height), there is this pop out bubble that kids can look in,
and really feels like you are swimming with the fishes.
SO CUTE!
I don't know how to describe the feeling,
but it is really AMAZING, because it is so damn clear.
Probably it is as if you are in a submarine (i guess, i never take submarine before. LOL!)
If given a choice, velle will choose not to come out of there anymore.
Hubby is probably cramping inside. LOL!
Because the area is so tinyy, even I got problem waddling through it.
HAHAHA! Cramped up hubby.
My turn for a picture!
I look so uncomfortable hor?
I am so amused by this fish, and the spots on its back.
Looks like eyes of a squid right?! LOL
We went up to the platform.
Velle is super unglam omg
Really like their 'glasses beneath your feet' idea
We went down, and velle wanted to go into the kids cave again.
So enjoying herself.
How the whole area looks like.
Last picture before we leave this area.
Another fun exhibit!
Feels like you are in a fish tank
Very "qiang jing tou" fish
Again....
This school of really freak me out.
They kept so still so gross.
360 tunnel!
Fishes dont really swim pass under our feet, but i really like the concept
It is a really short tunnel, but we linger for a long long time there too...
Manage to spot a sea turtle too!
Next to the Jellyfish exhibit
I'm gonna catcha~
Tiny shark
Helping the sea turtles and having fun at the same time.
The touch pool is so colorful!
We can reach in and touch the corals and starfish
Hubby holding a starfish.
The top feels v rough,
the bottom makes me have goosepimples all over. LOL
poke poke poke, velle not scared at all.
Our hobby, but too bad we dont have enough coins.
Anyway amelia went and help me get 2 of those le! THANKS!!
bu zi bu jue, we are at the 2nd level le. I didn't even realize! LOL
We spot a photo booth at a corner, and went for it!
SO FUN! $5 though
Nice not nice not?
YAY! This marks the end of our visit to Sea Life Aquarium!
We went for a short train ride before leaving the mall.
The conductor looks very sian
Velle was super excited ~
Daddy where?
As usual, we went to feed the ducks.
She only like to feed the ducks, if she sees pigeon she will say SHOOO sHOOO LOL
Most precious in my life
Her last piece of bread, keep pinching and pinching it. LOL
We spotted the ducklings again!!
SO CUTE!
So many other attractions I want to visit...
But will probably not go out this weekend as our boxes is arriving THIS FRIDAY!!
I AM SO HAPPY.FINALLY MY BED.
