Her visit to ER. Ear infection
7:00 AM
Edited/*
Today velle was suppose to see her PD for a follow up.
Called the clinic at 8am today,
and as expected the nurse DID NOT WANT US TO GO IN.
WTH!!
Like helllo!!
My daughter went into the ER last night please!
The dumbass nurse still tell lewis, 2 weeks later then come back.
Because she take antibiotics can already.
But lewis insist to bring her in,
because her ears have discharge and foul foul smell.
After 45 mins and 3 phone calls, FINALLY they let us come in.
Damn idiot.
It wasnt the usual PD that see her,
but the PD found a hole in her ear drums.
Apparently, her ear drums sort of burst?!
And the fluid flow out.
I really wanted to curse the damn nurse man!
Dr say its VERY dangerous,
and inject antibiotics in her blood,
instead of her taking it orally.
I hated the nurse so much!
If we didnt insist on bringing Velle in,
what will happen?
And will the nurse be responsible for it?
Damn her la!
She had another check up tmr again,
and after everything, we may change her PD.
Guess what, when we check out and ask for presciption for her ear drops,
some SMARTASS nurse told us,
no need prescription, just go Pharmacy find will got one.
HAHA, YA RIGHT!
Got her head, is actually need prescription can!~
I will NEVER trust the nurse again.
I wonder if she really got cert.
We brought Velle to ER at 9pm yesterday.
I finally felt that its time to really know whats going on with her,
whats the pain in the left ear about.
I brought velle to her PD clinic to be seen by the Nurse,
because dr not free.
Nurse checked her ear and say she COULDNT find anything in it.
And her ear was very CLEAN, NO EAR WAX.
I believe her, because she seems v professional.
But my motherly instinct tells me that Velle is really not OK.
She is crying and crying, not drinking milk.
She stop drinking totally at 830,
she's been leaning on her right too.
I broke down at 8 plus at night,
because i know something is wrong with her,
and i hope to help her.
Called Helen and cry,
And told her i felt a lump behind her loops,
and im sure her ear got problem.
9pm, we reached the ER.
Found out thaat she had ear infection,
cause by unknown reason.
And her ears are not clean, and there's a pimple in it.
How can the nurse not see that?
Daddy soothing velle velle,
she loves his shoulders..
While waiting for Dr to come and take a look at her.
Dr came in,
ask very detailed qns.
WE answered and he proceed on to check her ears.
Piang, colourful things come out.
Red, yellow, green..
And velle cry till the world turn upside down.
But i kept an eye contact with her, talking to her throughout.
She sense my confidence and was Very, VERY VERY brave.
She is a super brave baby.
After her ordeal.
Sound asleep.
Very exhausted.
Way pass her sleeping time, and unable to feed.
Nurse came in, and draw her blood.
This time, not from her ankles like jaundice.
Its from the arms, like how we adults draw blood.
And a tube, yes i mean a TUBE of blood was drawn.
Guess what,
she did not even cry or twitch her face.
She knew, daddy&mummy was there.
Just looking at the nurse quietly,
and ofcourse they praised her,
she's really really good.
Slept back after taking her blood.
Ear infection doesnt mean she need to have fever.
Her temp is normal, she's just not feeding.
I think she's as stong as Daddy,
infection still normal temperature.
My 2nd visit to ER over here.
First to deliver her, and now to get her ears checked.
Im glad i did not wait till the next day.
Nothing hurts more than listening to your baby cry,
and you cant do anything about it.
She's on antibiotics now.
GREAT!
reflux medicine and antibiotics.
busy mummy needs to go noow, BYE
