7:38 PM
Day 2 - Journey behind the Falls/ Maid of the Mist
Woke up to this stunning view at 7am the next morning.
That's the Canadian Horseshoe Falls
American Falls and the bridge is called Rainbow bridge,
which we sadly didn't have time to walk there.
I really wanted to go one.....
Chlovelle couldn't wake up, but i did alot of coaxing and here she is....
Eating her cereal, looking very sleepy but still very cute to me haha!
After trying everything at the buffet line,
their cook-to-order omelets are the best choice...
The rest are like MEH!
Buffet is held at Keg's restaurant Level 9, but we cannot sit near to the windows.
Niao one leh.
Went back to our room after breakfast because i need to make up haha!
Hubby was very patient, didn't even rush me leh~ Someone is in a good mood
Panoramic view of the falls
City view! I wonder how it will look like when all the trees turn yellow...
Gear up in our rain boots & wind breakers again!
Incline railway right outside of embassy suites.
If you choose not to take this, which cost $2.50/pax, you gotta walk 20 mins down.
They fence up the whole walkway, and left us with no choice but to pay for this crap!
I know this is how they earn money, i could walk yadah yadah...
It just go down a few feet like this. O_o
Wasn't even fun like cable car or ferries wheel
Complain so much, but we still took it anyways HAHAHA
Save time save energy, who knows maybe it will take 45 mins with this little one tagging along right?
Chlovelle enjoyed the 1 min ride down
When i was a kid, i love all sorts of rides too~ hahaha!
But my parents will be like *straight face*
No building at the bottom of the railway, the wind was so strong i was shiveringggg
Not a very good picture but i think this was Table rock centre
So the falls wasn't so "horseshoe-ish" in the beginning...
Almost blending in
Canadian horseshoe falls
Thanks for the photobomb, i couldnt get rid of him. Help someone?
Amelia told us to buy the adventure pass as we could save more than buying individual tickets!
Thanks for the good recommendation! The pass also consist of 2 days WeGo bus access.
Travelling down 150 feet to have a closer look at the canadian horseshoe falls
Chlovelle very eager as usual...
Walking through a tunnel to the observation deck
WHAT A COOL EXPERIENCE!
Watch the video!
I thought velle wouldn't want to step out and get wet,
but she was like "let's go mum!"
Almost got blown away hahaha!
It was a short & simple attraction but memorable for me!
Hope velle will remember this too.
Posey posey with the falls.
Lesser crowd and no photo bombers!
Cloudy day! if not we could have seen a rainbow!!
Lunch at the pizza cafe at Table Rock centre,
surprisingly are the only cafe with reasonable prices!
I enjoyed the pizza & coke very much because i was so hungry from all the walking,
i started to feel dizzy. The sugar helps...
Making use of our Wego bus passes but inexperience us actually waited for 20mins there.
HAHAHA! dumb one. And every time we want to leave, hubby will be like
"once we walk away a bus will drive pass us"
So we waited until the cloudy skies became clear.
And i SAW A RAINBOW ON THE BUS!
Didn't manage to take a picture but WO KAN DAO LE~
Very happy me, holding on to my daughter incase she fly out of her seat.
Alight at the 2nd stop and it was cloudy again! WHAT?!
The rainbow was gone.
Oh, this is the american falls
We walked on that wooden walkway on Day 1! Cave of the winds!
Maid of the Mist boat tour!
Maid of the mist boat tour operate on the both sides of the falls,
I believe they bring us on the same route to view the falls upclose
The tour guide on the lift told us we will be given a poncho,
but will still get wet. SO! double protection for velle haha!
AIYO! So cute! haha!
We overheard another staff telling 2 tourist that the best spot will be at the
lower deck at the tip of the boat!
Off we go!
No more pictures of this attraction because i forgot to bring my waterproof pouch,
the boat was jerky and i felt like i gonna drop my phone in the water~
Wasted!
But among all the attractions, THIS IS MY FAVORITE!
The boat took us to the bottom of Canadian Horseshoe Falls & lingered there for awhile.
Wind blew the water right unto our faces, i couldnt even open my eyes....
I tried and it felt like my contacts almost came out. At the end of the tour, my eyeliner smudge like
crazy but when i look down......
Chlovelle was totally dry! Smart pants pull the blue poncho covering her whole face and
look through it! HAHAHA!
Dry and Happy HAHA!
The rest of the passengers are soaked like us~ HAHAHA
Such a crazy and fun experience, will totally do it again man!
Took a long walk back to the hotel~
The slope was steep, almost broke my legs before reaching the hotel haha!
Anyways we wash up and dry our clothes before heading out for dinner....
Hubby drove us for some Thai food~
Ambiance was great!
Though their portion is small & prices not that small, their food was excellent!
Enjoyed the food so much! What a good dinner!
Googled and found out the Ontario walmart sells KINDER EGGS!
This make velle really really happy!
I ate until i got ulcers too hahaha!
Parked the car back at the casino and walk down to view the falls again.
The reason why we parked the car at the casino is because Embassy suites charge us $25-$35
per night for parking at their carpark. 13% tax are not included yet!
While casino parking is $5 per exit. Do your math.
Skylon tower, gave this a miss because reviews says that their food isnt that fantastic.
Pretty falls at night!
I like how they shine light on the falls so that people can enjoy it even in the dark
It was a wonderful day at the falls!
Just couldn't get enough of it!
