Bahamas Cruise Day 1 - Cruising with Royal Carribean, Majesty of the Seas
8:48 PM
We went on a Bahamas Cruise from 18 - 22 August,
which was just a few days before her school starts!
This trip was a little last minute because initially we can't find a cruise line that
sails from a port near us before her school starts...
In the end, i had a brilliant idea to fly down to Miami and board the cruise from there.
I chose Royal Carribean as our cruise line because they have been around for a long time(i wanted a
cruise line with good reputation), and according to reviews, they are 2nd to Disney cruise line.
Many other reasons why we decide to do it by cruise is because they includes food, lodging
and island hopping!
Which was everything we wanted! And from what i hear, food and lodging isn't cheap at Bahamas too.
Our day started really early ( we always choose crazy flight times to fly out)
Big thanks to Aloi and woke up super early to fetch us to the airport!
It was a 2.5hrs flight from Dallas to Charlotte Airport, then another 2 hrs from Charlotte to Miami..
Travelling with our tiny big girl was a breeze.
She knows what is expected of her at the custom, she sits well and sleeps on the flight.
If we are filthy rich i don't mind traveling a few more times with her haha!
Actually my secret weapon is her blankie; her comfort item.
Daddy is in charge of the entertainment and i just throw in snacks when she's restless.
We are finally reaching Miami!
After all the plane crash news, i was a little scared of flying.
But i told myself YOLO, better overcome it or rot at home, right?
Thank God for the safe flight, although its very bumpy, we landed safely and on time! WHEEE
We actually landed at 2pm and the ship custom actually closes at 3pm
CRAZY MUCH?!
I don't know what we always this to ourselves and make the trip so memorable! HAHA
So we ran, and i flag down any cabs tt drive pass and one actually stops for us!
HE RACED (literally and dangerously) down to the Ports of Miami.
After a long long time at customs, we finally got into our stateroom.
Tip : Try to bring carry-on luggage onboard as you can drag it to the room by yourself.
You don't have to wait for your luggage to arrive (which will take hours), and you don't have to tip!
Snuggling up on the bed upon seeing it!
A family picture before we head down for our late lunch at Windjammer.
The staff on the ship was super friendly and helpful.
Some of them are quite high and enthu, as if they were on drugs LOL.
And i notice the staff are people from all around the world!
Argh, hate my witchy pimple.
The ship started to move off towards the end of our meal.
We rushed up the deck to see the ship leaving Port of Miami,
Lots of thoughts flooded my head, mostly praying that the ship don't sink like Titanic haha!
I love the feeling of the wind hitting my face!
We went around the cruise to explore before heading back to our stateroom.
Thank you for booking a room with a view despite saying i don't need one.
I think its much much better with that window!
Staring out into the infinite sea
We headed out to explore other parts of the ship before going to dinner
Because we booked the cruise last min, our dining timing was 9pm!
Thankfully we had late lunch phewww..
Took tons of pictures since no one was around LOL
SPAM ONLY
Left the deck with a bee hive on my head.
The wind blow until my hair pong pong sia LOL
Buey tahan this Chlovelle ahahaha!
I would give 5/10 for the food on the ship.
Edible but not tasty, and I'm just glad no one got an upset stomach.
Went back our stateroom to rest for a full day tomorrow!
Seriously can't wait!
