Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch
12:45 PM
We went to Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch last Saturday!
We get to see some captivity animals upclose, & pat them.
We started the day early,
ballet lesson first then swing by Sweet tomato for lunch.
1 hour drive down to the ranch, the journey is sooo long!
Plainly following the GPS, don't even know where am I.
Land land land land land sky sky sky sky sky is what you see in Texas.
Very paiseh we were the last to reach, making the rest wait for us.
We flash our military pass and got in FREE!
We are already sweating before entering the ranch,
the weather was about 37 degrees that day.
Baby zebra, they look so weak.
The guide explaining about black bears...
We are melting in the sun.
Chlovelle starting to get really cranky, so I left the place before the guide finish his presentation.
The tram that will bring us out to the "wild"
Gorgeous horse!
All their animals look very healthy and well taken care of.
Only this zebra looks weak. LOL
I read before that camel's breath stinks,
now that i come across a RL one, they REALLY stink,
not just their breath, they just stink. LOL!
Poor kangaroos, all hiding in the shade
The guide took out a snake for the kids to pat.
I think it is my first time touching a snake, not that bad....
A little skeptical at first.
After that she had so much fun patting it. LOL
Little joey! Look like a little lamb to me
YEAH! Finally our turn to go unto the tram
Crying behind our smiles.
The seats were to hot it burn through our pants..
Finally moving!
Into the "wild"
Cross breed, horse and a zebra.
Chlovelle keep asking me what animal is that because she is so confused.
Horse? no. Zebra? no
There are pails with food hanging on the trams so we pat the animals while they eat.
Our little animal lover just have to touch all the animals.
No time for pictures.
Next we move on to another area where the llama, deer and zebra lives
Zebra bites!
So we are not allowed to pat them.
HAHA! Next stop, CAMELS!
The guide is super nice to help everyone take pictures!
To save us from heat stroke.
A cup of ice to end our trip at Sharkarosa.
Chlovelle seem to swallow a hyper pill or what,
did not nap after we left the ranch.
So we brought her out to get some stuff in the evening.
What a fun Saturday!
Fall is coming, more events for us ! YEA!
