First day of school in Dallas
12:26 PM
Summer break is finally over!
It has been 3 months since Chlovelle attended any classes.
I was expecting her to be clingy, crying buckets of tears & screaming for me.
But kids always surprise their parents right?
She went into class without any fuss, smile and wave good bye to us...
Really? That was quite easy..... LOL
Woke up early to have milk.
Her class starts at 9am,
but i wanted her to reach early so she can get comfortable with the environment.
Very cooperative.
Let me dress her up, brush and wash her face.
Nicely do up her hair...
I know her bag is HUGE, but I was thinking to extend her school hours in the next few
months so she can nap there, and we need to bring their nap mats.
So Huge is good?
Her school is like 3 mins drive from my place.
Super near! And we are early!
I like arriving because there will be lesser crying kids,
and lesser kids means the teachers is able to put their attention on her.
(Oh, spot the mummy trying to take a nice picture of her son! LOL!)
Walking in like a Boss!
Cute bin to place her bag
Squatting near the entrance of her classroom,
as we wait for other parents to sign in their kids.
Most parents are early too. hahaha!
Cool-y signing in.
The assistant teacher wore a flashing light on her finger.
That help to attract kids, like my little Chlovelle, into class. LOL
She is like what's that? can i see? And happily walk into class.
Some activity is already placed on the table,
and that's her waving byebye to Daddy.
(Oh, I think Chlovelle might be the oldest in class - born in March)
We came back at 12nn to pick her up.
Teachers updated the whiteboard outside the class on what they did today.
According to the teachers,
she did not cry, able to understand instructions & most importantly the teachers understand her English. LOL
Unfortunately, the lead teacher accidentally scratched velle's face, leaving a big red cut.
Woke up from a 2 hours nap,
and the quekies ate cereal. SO CUTE RIGHT!
In the evening, we went out to deposit money.
Place the cash in the capsule and it will get suck into the bank, where the banker will deposit for us.
Hubby jogged, while velle cycle in the park.
I had a hard time catching up. Tsk
I want a bike too please.
No one feed the ducks on weekdays,
so when they see us, machiam see cai sheng ye
First day of school turns out super well!
She only attends school on M-W-F, so lets hope she do well on Friday too (:(:
