Chlovelle's Birth Story. Arrival of my little girl
3:49 PM Before I start on Chlovelle’s birth story, I would like to thank all the people that encourage me to keep this little angel. Thanks to those who believe in us, and give us their support all these while. Over this period of time, I learnt a lot from being responsible, to maximize my patience. I am also thankful to those who offer their help during my pregnancy, And also after Chlovelle is out. God show me the good side of human, very willing to step out of their busy schedule just to help. Lastly, I thank God for my husband; Lewis He is my pillar of strength other than God, If he were to give up, I am not sure what will become of me. He is the reason why I am carrying on what I am doing. And yes, I love him more more more than my little Chlovelle. Because he is my husband, my life partner. 17 March 2009 9am – 10am We went to gynae for check up. Was 37 Week pregnant, and I was scared about the checking of cervix. Routine checked up, and my gynae wasn’t in, So a back-up doctor came in and did a scan. Everything went well, and she did not check my cervix. 10am – 11am Once we step out of the clinic I got cramp in my stomach already. I thought it was just hunger so I didn’t bother it. Drove to supermarket and bakery to get breakfast and grocery, By that time I keep having painful cramps in my stomach. I didn’t bother it though, thought should be stomachache, Go back shit can already. 11am – 2pm Went back home and have a terrible terrible stomachache, Shitted then felt better, but suddenly got fear of delivery that I cried in the toilet. After the bowel movement, didn’t have any appetite at all. Slept with babyfied till 12 plus and I was waken but SUPER DUPER cramp. Rushed to the toilet and had water-liked diarrhea, with cramps at the same time. Went for like 2 times, and realize something is wrong, msn Helen for helped, she told me maybe I going in labour as it may be the body clearing my intestine. By the third time I diarrhea, I cannot take it and scream for babyfied who is sleeping, Telling him I am in pain. We called the clinic and the back-up doctor ask me to go buy medicine to stop diarr loh! Ate and still diarr like mad. 8 times in total. Vomitted in the end and we decided to go to the doctors. Last min anyhow packed finish my hospital bag and rush to ER. On the way there was REALLY bad, the cramp was a killer, And the bumpy road didn’t help at all. 3pm - 8pm Rushed to ER and the nurse quickly ask me if I am in labour, I say no, maybe got gastric flu. But for safety sake, they brought me to the labour and delivery ward. Asked me to change into the hospital robe, And I sit there cramping like mad. Finally nurses came and strap me with the contractions monitor, And when I am in pain, I ask them for medicine, But they told me its not cramp, I am having regular contractions. OMG LOH!! I was like surprised!! But I thinking it will ease and go away one. Another nurse came in and checked my cervix, And at the time I am having contractions, She checked until I scream damn loud!! Super duper painful cause the dilation is at the back! 4.5cm diliated. >.<> I asked am I going to deliver today, and yes is their answer. = Due to not registering earlier, with my contractions, I need to sign paperwork and stuff. They also came in to give me medicine, antibiotics, and fever pills. I am sick loh! And in labour! They also poke needle on my wrist to inject water in my body. No food till baby is out, and only can eat crushed ice.             8pm-1am Pain until like crazy, that I curl like a prawn. Shiver like mad as if im dying. Finally at 8 then my paperwork done, And got my epidural jab. Whoo hoo, no more pain. But they injected very little for me due to my size. The nurse put a tube in my bladder to drain the urine, The feeling very disgusting, until now I still wondering where the tube went in loh! And then I doze in and out of sleep. At the same time, nurses came in and out, Monitoring my contractions and dilation. 5 hours and my cervix still 4.5cm. Diao! Even they injected some medicine to let my contractions stronger but cervix still don’t want dilate!! 130am – 18 march 2009 Doctor came in and told me he is going to break my water bag. Broke it and can feel warm warm water flow out. Still never panick, but kind of disappointed velle not out on 17 instead. 130am – 230am After 15 mins they checked my cervix, already 8 cm. Damn scary! And all the nurse like start to move very fast, Preparing the tools, chairs, lights. I was telling babyfied the feeling very weird, Like im going to have operation loh! Nurse guided me to push Velle out to the opening of the vaginal, And was playing with her hair! LOL! She even ask babyfied to see her hair! Doctor quickly came, And ask me to push at the peak of each contraction. Each push with the count of ten, and each contraction peak must rush to push 3 times. Baby was very encouraging, keep tell me I push well, And every push can see velle's head travel down a little.            Finally at 2.32am, my little darling is out. After the head is out, doctor pull her body out. Piang the feeling damn shiok, like something clot came out!! Then the first qns I ask baby is, why she never cry. LOL! The first time I see her, I already feel she is JUST LIKE ME! She look very very much like me can! Doctor let baby cut her cord and distract him to take pictures, While he pull my placenta out (shiok!) and stitch me up. The most worth it part is that baby is so happy to see and holding chlovelle. He was so touched upon her arrival, and his expression just make my labour all worth it. Chlovelle drank lots of blood during the process, That the nurse need to pump it out from her stomach. She also didn’t Bfeed well as she didn’t liked my boob. LOL!             My first stay in hospital. Horrible. Stayed from Tuesday to Friday evening. Was supposed to discharged on Thursday, But due to her jaundice, we stayed another day for her. And the whole time I am suffering from migraine.   Nobody realize anything until one nurse guess its because of my epidural, And for so many days im lying there, so sicked and trying to breastfeed, And not eating plus keep taking medicine cause of headache. The epidural wasn’t injected in me properly, And side effect is terrible headache. I can only lie flat, and not sit up or walk. It is because the hole of my epidural jab causes the water to leak out from the spine and not reached my head. So my brain is not getting enough fluid, And only when lying down, the water can flow up. Only 2/100 people will get this, and im the suay one. Doctor came in and gave me another shot, Which call the blood patch, to patch the hole in my spine, So the water can travel up again. Freaking painful to jab into the SAME SPOT! Cry loh, But after lying an hour, im like a dragon again! And brought dearest Chlovelle back home (=  Love, Yanwen Labels: Chlovelle's Birth Story |
