The Ending Chapter...

It has been 7 months already,
from the day i start blogging about my pregnancy till today.
7 months have passed.
(aug08 - march09)
I record bits and pieces of my pregnancy in this blog,
and thanks to my friends/readers for giving me encouragement over these period.
Ofcourse thanking the mummies that i've linked up with,
most of them gave me valuable advices!
I seriously felt like i wrote a book or something,
right from the beginning to now, almost ending.
Well, ending of a chapter.
And starting of another chapter where a new darling arrives.
Am so excited!
Someday i may be as calm as i can be,
some days i feel anxious,
some days i just feel totally freaked out.
Everyday im experiencing different emotions about her coming to see the world.
But i will be strong for baby and chlovelle,
because the only way out is to push her out right?
The little girl cant go anywhere except me pushing her out!
There is no other way man~
Yesterday i was reading my text about childbirth,
then i saw a page about dilation of cervix.
I know that the cervix need to dilate till 10cm,
then the baby is able to be out.
But where exactly is the cervix???
And why do we need to have contractions???
* Correct me if i am wrong ok? (=
What does contraction does for us before childbirth??
Contractions will cause the upper part of the uterus (fundus) to tighten
and thicken while the cervix and
lower portion of the uterus stretch and relax,
helping the baby pass from inside the uterus
and into the birth canal for delivery.
(so its like the same theory as having a stomache?
Passing/transit the stool from the intestine to the anus right? LOL! )
And these are the stages of childbirth
Thinning, then dilation of cervix.
Most ppl say until 10 cm, then baby head will be able to slide down.
I guess the on off contraction will shift the baby down the birth canal.
Then the urge of pushing will be REALLY STRONG.
Sandy always tell me push must got stamina one! LOL!
Follow the gynae counts. From 1 to 10 is like counting to hundreds.
1.....................2.....................3..................
But cannot give up, if stop half way, baby will suck back anot?
No, or maybe the baby head will weird shape huh~
Lucky baby's head bigger than the body, the rest will slip out
or being pull out by gynae.
Last part most gross one.
Delivering of placenta, one huge piece of meat will be push come out from you.
Some religion do collect it and wrap in white cloth. (i dont!)
Then stitching right?
Phew~
reading it sounds so easy huh!
Now i think its damn easy la,
but until my turn..
Gua gua gua, i will see still will so easy anot! LOL!
Oh well,
anyway reading it gives me ease,
cause more i know, the lesser i am scare.
Recently babyfied allows me to eat instant noodles leh!
HOHOHO! surprised!
Must be because he sees chlovelle fat fat le,
that means i did my part,
then now i can eat ANYTHING!
my tummy in weird shape?
