Halloween 2014
1:33 PM
31st October 2014
Frozen theme for our family this year!
Many thanks to Serene for helping velle purchase this popular Elsa dress.
It is so popular that the store limits 1 dress per customer!
I found my Anna skater dress online, but almost gave me an heart attack because they
send me the wrong size & everywhere was out of stock!
And hubby finally gave in to be Olaf because he didn't want to be left out! hahaha!
My sun-kissed Elsa lol
Group photo for memories!
Liyi, CT and Ryder was in theme too, they were dressed up as Totoro SO CUTE
The little kids..
So hard to take a perfect picture of them
Iron man, Olaf and Totoro!
Paste stickers all over her hair, so the snowy effect
Halloween seems to be much quieter this year.
A lot of houses don't participate anymore..
But this huge spider house is still going strong, they always have the best decorations!
Liyi (totoro) is 8 months pregnant and Yvonne (witch) just gave birth…
WHY ALL SO SLIM AND PRETTY ONE?!
Fail group shot of the kids LOL
After trick or treating, we headed down to IHOP for a yummy dinner/supper together!
Halloween Preparation
Days before Halloween, i had an idea of making a hairband for velle
so i took an old hairband of hers and stripped it naked.
Then I cover the white hairband up with blue glittery ribbon and paste a snowflake on it.
I made hair clips too, because the Elsa dress was a little too loose on the shoulders.
So i used clips to act as a safety pin, and also to clip on strap hairs at the back of her head.
Hubby costume was all DIY too.
Plain white top pasted with 3 huge brown felt.
Plain cap with Olaf eyes/brows and nose.. And don't forget his teeth!
Happy Halloween!

Texan of the week
12:52 AM
Weeks ago, Chlovelle came back with a green ribbon on her chest.
Apparently she was the Texan of the week (everyone gets a chance to be one lol),
and was awarded a ribbon and had her photo taken too..
So nice of the school to come up with such event to make the kids feel proud of themselves..

Dallas Arboretum - Pumpkin Patch
3:20 PM
We went to see the pumpkin patch one day in October when the weather was cooling
& the sun was bright and shiny!
The entrance fee for the garden was pricey,
but the pretty pumpkin stack once we walked in make it all worth it!
There were pumpkins EVERYWHERE!
Big ones, little ones, and even funny looking ones…
This year we went with the denim theme to bring out the farmer vibe LOL
Quickly headed to the Pumpkin village, which was infested with people..
SO CROWDED!
Pumpkin patch is the highlight of the place, thats why people just hang around that area.
Picture taking is exceptionally difficult because it was so crowded and everyone
wants to take a good shot without random people at the background.
I give up with having a good background after awhile…
It is simply impossible.
Velle is having a "smallest pumpkin" competition..
She keeps finding the smallest pumpkin and dump the bigger one she is holding.. lol
Gas uncle
WOW
A squash that looks like an apple
Picnic after a long walk at the garden
Pretty carriage
empty patch nearing to the closing time
This will be our last time visiting a pumpkin patch this trip!
I'm glad the pictures turn out great!
