Once in a lifetime experience. 4D Ultrasound
7:06 PM
Today is 6 days after our 8th year anniversary,
and 10 days away from our 1st year wedding anniversary.
I suggested not to spent on anything expensive,
and use the money to do a 4D ultrasound.
Its a advance scan where you can see ur little baby.
Before the scan ,
you have to drink plenty of water ( for clearer pictures),
take something sweet to stimulate the baby and
have a full bladder ( so the baby will be higher up)
I was very excited to get to see her,
but at the same time scared because *ahem
What you see is what you get, you know what i mean??
And i was all jittery.
This was a service not provided by my prenatal doctor,
but the ultrasound was done by a professional sonographer.
who is VERY nice & friendly!
After we register, we went into a dim room,
and there is a large bed for me to lie.
The whole environment is super cozy,
did i mention i dont have to tilt my head to see the machine's screen?
They have projector that projects the screen onto the wall CLEARLY!
And before i knew it,
we saw our baby girl.
First look at her, i just felt she was sooo cute!
And my love for her went from 100% to 100000000%
Its like instant love,
i definitely feel that doing this scan creates a bond.
We are not really sure who she looks like now,
but she is so perfect in my eyes!
I realise one thing about being a parent,
is that your child will always be OH-SO-PERFECT in your eyes.
You totally see no flaws. AT ALL.
As usual the person doing the scan for me
was saying my tummy doesnt look like 35 Weeks.
But once she scan, she was saying Chlovelle is chubby.
Dont you think so????
I totally didnt expect her to be filled with fats on her cheeks.
Then she also say, i may look small,
but definitely having baby inside me.
Just that Velle is deep inside me.
You must have see something covering her face?
She lying on my placenta, using it as a pillow
REFUSED to shift AT ALL.
When the person try to shift her, wanna be grouchy somemore.
Here are 2 Videos that i uploaded.
First is when the person try to shift her,
she is so so grouchy.
Second is her little foot, that i love so much!
So precious, and look alot like daddy's
Doing this ultrasound really made my day!
It also motivates me to push her out real quick when in time of labor.
Now i really look forward to have her out soon.
If you ask me,
i would totally urge you to go for this scan.
Because its WORTH IT!
Its a wonderful experience for both you and hubby.
Once baby is out, there is no way she will be going back in.
And even if you can take million of pictures with her,
this ultrasound is just different.
I am totally amazed by the technology now.
WOW WOW WOW.
And it has been EXTRA CONFIRM that she is a girl.
Because we had a picture of a girly part,
which me and baby decide to give her some privacy by not posting it up.
Very clear, confirm girl LOL!
With lots of love,
Yanwen
