Signs of Approaching Labor
3:54 PM
I saw this information through the weekly email that i subcribed.
Signs That Baby Is Coming!
Just when you think you can't possibly get any bigger
and you'll never get off the couch without a crane,
you may experience the following symptoms that let you know the time is near.
Note that these symptoms don't occur in any particular order,
and several may occur within the same day or a few days of each other.
- An increase in vaginal discharge, possibly brownish or pinkish in color.
- "Engagement," or the sensation of the baby dropping lower into your pelvic cavity.
-Braxton Hicks contractions or "practice" contractions that feel like a tightening or
hardening of the uterus with possible mild cramps.
- Slight weight loss.
- Dull pain low in your back that comes and goes.
- Loose and frequent bowel movements with cramping.
- Sensation of building pressure or cramping in your pelvic/rectal area.
- A feeling of restlessness/increased energy, or marked sense of fatigue.
- Softening, thinning, or dilation of cervix (as shown by doctor's internal exam).
Experiencing backaches and fatique for now,
oh, maybe tightening of uterus without any pain.
I hate the backache, sometimes it suddenly attack with a sharp pain!
I know its not her kicks, because she isnt moving much,
due to the amount of space left.
Sometimes i wished i could have someone close to understand how i feel,
to empathise with me.
My back aches even from sleeping, as if she rest her weight on my spine.
Waking up a million times in the middle of the night to pee,
each time with intense pain because bladder too full.
But yet thirsty at the same time.
But casting all these irritating pains aside,
im SO GLAD we kept this little baby.
Im looking forward not only to see her,
but to see how will we changed once she arrive.
Will we have different opinion about how to care for a child?
Will we get overly exhausted, thus frustrated with each other or the baby?
Will i be so overbearing and insist a special way to speak/act in front of her?
So many questions, but no answers.
But only a few more weeks to find out (=
* I think she will be a March baby.
How about march 20? First day of Spring.
So today was a relaxing day.
Because im not gonna cook. Heehee~
Sucked on the ring pop and did my photo albums.
But i threw away the ring pop after awhile,
not tasty one, plus make my lips blue.
Now i look as if im damn sick.
Sitting in her room,
listening to the children songs making albums are so fun!
After that i packed her clothings again.
Intended to open the diapers and stack it,
but am thinking is it too early?
Roam around her room,
and decide to fix her name up the wall (=
See, when there is no husband/friends/elderly people around,
a pregnant woman can take a chair and climb high high. HAHAHA!!
I did well didnt i?
I climbed up and down like so many times,
because i fix this at another wall, but transfered it over.
Fixed the middle letter (V) first, then curve all the way down.
Going up and down to gauge.
Thanks to the training i have during work,
i master the skill of sticking letters on the wall!
Cant believe i did it alone,
last time michelle or bel will be like, "left left, up abit, right right!!"
Boy, how i miss the times when im working.
Inititally looked a little plain,
so i added flowers and butterfly.
The real thing is much prettier (=
As i decorate the room,
i forget my pains,
and very much enjoy climbing so high up and paste stuff.
Thinking back,
i love to rearrange my classroom,
to make sure the children feel safe and cozy.
How i wish i got the strength of hercules now,
so can i shift the CRIB WHICH IS BELOW THE SWITCH!
Its so irritating loh!
i know i know i know she will surely surely surely go play with it!
When you are a child, do you play with things u are not suppose to?
OFCOURSE RIGHT! ARGH!
Sore in my eyes, that freaking switch.
Wonder if baby will love how i stick her name!?!
Hee hee, hope he is back soon!
35 Weeks today.
Which means 8 months and 3 weeks.
I know i will scream in pain when in labor,
and im pretty excited now.
scared yes, but the happy kind of scared.
Dunno what to expect kind.
Not those when u step into exam hall,
you get cold hands and stomache kind.
A happy kind of scared.
Im there.
