Hurricane Harbor @ Arlington

First time to Hurricane Harbor!!
What have we been doing all summer?!
It is their 2nd last week of operation and they will be closed till next Summer!
Seriously, what have we been doing? Haha!
This time round we went with Jackie&Jerlyn,
whee! means more people to help us snap pics haha!
The first leap into the pool is always the hardest,
SO COLDDD.... It was around 38 degrees that day, but still....
She always feel safer with her goggles
One round of lazy pool to "warm up"
Walked around the parks looking for slides to play~
Look at the twisty slides, velle was allowed to ride on it.
It does look very dangerous ~
We went for a family slide first.
The climb up was horrible & the wait was worst...
It should be that long, but the conveyor belt to transport the float up is stuck 3 FREAKING TIMES.

No pictures of us on the slide, but it was fun.
Chlovelle giggled all the way down LOL
In her right gear today!
Especially the water shoes, the pool is filled with sharp edges, and the steps might be slippery.
Thankfully i remember to bring it.

Oh my goodness, it looks scary right?
But velle said she wanted to ride on it, and seems ready.. so why not~
I think she did great! Came down with a beaming proud smile LOL
Next we went for this 2 pax slide. (left)
The wait wasnt too long because we carry the float up ourselves *pants*

Chlovelle was so tiny she kept falling into the hole,
i have no choice but to kiap her with my feet.
IT WAS SOOO FUNNNNN~~~
There was a few bumps along the way and when we came down,
velle was like " mummy i almost gonna let go" so cute!
Hubby was saying this ride looks very Meh~!
But when it got on it, he says its super fun LOL
We finally reached the kids area!
Look at the red and green slides behind,
velle wasn't allowed to go on it before she isnt 42" tall
Tell me again why is she allowed on the twisty ones and other moderate thrill ones?
Why?
The staff direct us to the baby slides.
Lame
Enjoying herself at the wave pool!
We have so much fun!
Will probably buy their season pass next year~~
You are supposed to drift across the water but hubby was too rigid.
Damn funny LOL
Sliding or maybe i should say Falling 4 storeys down..
I think i prefer tube slides haha~

My Saturday with Chlovelle

Hubby was on duty last Saturday,
I brought Jackie&Jerlyn to Walmart to get some groceries.
Didn't have much to buy, so went to buy "goldilock and the three bears" for velle.
Cute illustration, we love it so much! haha!
Went back to cook dinner so we can have our dinner by the pool!
Didn't wanna have a lonely dinner at home with velle, feel so sadd

Time to get a new swimsuit for her,
she have been wearing this for 2 years already LOL

Will post a picture of the case next time, looks a little like ziplock bag but it works.
I have to set timer for pictures because S3 doesnt sense my fingers under water.
It was a fun evening!
Chlovelle love the pasta i made and kept saying it was really good.
I bet it was just the change of environment haha! Kids are so adorable.
Almost fall asleep while sunbathing. But i didnt! Have to keep a close watch on her :P

UTI? Or maybe not?

Brought Chlovelle to the PD yesterday because she have been going to the bathroom
too frequently through the night, which is uncommon.
She told me that when she pee, she feels "lala"(burning sensation) down there.
I immediately suspect it was UTI and brought her to the Dr.
She was all grossed out about peeing in a cup LOL,
but her test results came back CLEAN.
PD prescribed her antibiotics just in case the other lab test result came back positive.
Hmmm, i am a little confused over this.
So you mean i have to give antibiotics to my "might be perfectly healthy" kid,
while i wait for the lab test?
But if it were to be positive, the virus will spread to her bladder
and she might be admitted to the hospital.
Seems like i am placing a bet here.
I still went ahead to collect her antibiotics (just in case), bought some cranberry juice too.
Went home, rush her into the toilet and she doesn't say/show any discomfort at all.
Trusting my own instinct, I think it is a false alarm.
Is my instinct right? hmmmm...
Did some work with her since she didn't go school.
I know yogurt helps in UTI, but look at this 'overdosed-of-junk' yogurt lol
Dont think it will do any good haha!

Labor Day Weekend 2013

Last weekend we had a long holiday in Dallas,
and there was suppose to be good sale everywhere but....
I feel the sale is a little weak this year.
We had bubble tea and dim sum on Saturday.
Then head over to Allen to get a gift for my mum.
This was what i chose for her.
Thankfully she like it, i think it is the first item i buy for her that she likes.
Is my taste getting more matured or her taste getting younger? lol
Hubby paid for it though. Thank you!
End my night with this super shiok laksa for dinner.
I use prima taste laksa premix my mum sent, love this!
It is much cheaper in SG.
Sunday, we went to Sweet Tomatoes for brunch.
One of my fav place, and this is what i eat. Its a buffet btw.
My very messy salad that hubby stack for me LOL

grab some stuff from petsmart for puddles and spotted these!
I love the elmo halloween costume for pets so much.
But pudds wouldn't wear it, I'm sure.

Anyways velle had the right gear on!
Brought jackie and jerlyn around to get their stuff done.
Then we had teppanyaki for dinner!
Fav would be the sotong, anyhow marinate with sugar, salt, 2 types of sambal, garlic& onion power,
cut chilli and minced garlic.
Not bad sia~
Velle enjoyed herself very much.
Not that the food is delicious, it is probably just fun to dine at the patio for a change.
Next long holiday will be in Oct,
can we go somewhere already? ......
