First week in Dallas
1:33 PM
Saturday 30 June 2012
It has been a week since we arrive in Dallas.
Man... That was fast isn't it?!
Our first "not so busy" weekends is so enjoyable!
Woke up early because of velle. We had lunch at home,
then change and head out to Grapevine mills!
One of my favorite malls in Dallas (:
I am happy to go to the mall~~~
On the way there..
Mesmerized by the fluffy clouds
Velle darling is really tired because she woke up too early..
LOL
She fell asleep after i snap this pic.
Hubbylove
Resting on the seats while hubby look around his fav AE
Velle wanted to go on the carousel ride!
HAHAHA! HER FACE!
This ride cost $2, quite ok to me.
My 2 sweet peas
Fell in love with this dress while walking pass this store "Papaya"
Went in and the sales assistant told me it is out,
but i saw she is holding the last piece but with defects!
There is a small, unnoticeable hole on the dress, but i still went ahead to get it
because its original price is $23, but now its $10.
GET IT AND SEW IT
Went for hubby trade dinner at Mr wok after the mall
All new faces except for Jeff that i know from last trip.
Utterly shy as usual.
Hubby really love the food at Mr wok, but i was like MEH!
The engine men and their wives/kids
Home sweet home <3
Sunday 1 July 2012
Head out early to Toyrus to get her lunchpack which is on sale.
After that we went for grocery shopping,
got a lot to last a week....
Came back feeling super tired but still went ahead to cook dinner.
Velle seem to enjoy home-cooked food more.
This is the lunch pack we gotten for her,
but she chose this design herself!
She wanted this because it is sparkly. LOL
More about her school in the next post (:(:

Awesome Friday
2:00 PM
First attempt to cook Charsiew today.
Thanks to Jassy for the recipe!
Didn't have much confident when i was marinating the piece of meat,
because the marinate and the powder STINK SO BAD!
And then it came out like thiis, after baking.
I was like WHATT~~ Not red at all, looks a little too chao ta pls.
After slicing it, i lick my fingers and was like " YUMS, sure taste like char siew"
And then i give myself like 70 points for first timer, and 100 points for the awesome and detailed recipe.
LOL
Lotus soup and vege to go with the charsiew.
After lunch we went to the leasing office to collect my package.
Velle's humidifier finally came!
OMG ITS SO CUTE, melt with me thanks.
And then, she must make this picture so much cuter. LOL
Love this cool mist humidifier i got from Amazon,
no filter so cleaning is very easy, plus it has night light!
While i was preparing and heating up the dinner,
hubby finally done up her bed!!!!!
Putting on the cloth and the tent.
Our dinner!
Meat, Fish, Vege, Soup.
Don't say its the same dishes hor, usually i cook big portion so can eat for 2 meals.
kthxbye
I dont usually drink coke in SG, once i reach here, i feel coke goes with everything leh.
Dont know why.
After dinner, we changed and prepare to go out with Amelia and Candy
Fringe was extra mushroomy .
Amelia's garage is just beside ours.
Velle always call her son (Xavier), mei mei instead of didi.
And she will insist is mei mei somemore.
FIREWORKS at gaylord texan carpark.
Chicken feet LOL
Velle was a little frighten at first, after awhile she warm up to the popping sound.
