Place we called Home. Oaks riverchase
2:04 AM
Hi.
A huge picture of me first before i start showing you pictures of our home!
This will be our humble home for the next 2 years, though it is for a short period,
I still put in my best effort to make it look pretty and cozy.
We took 5 days to unpack everything, you can read it here
So this is what you will see once you enter through the main door - Our Living Area
As you can see, the theme is BLACK. LOL
I thought black can hide all the stains and spills Chlovelle gonna make,
but oh my, the dust is also horrendous. Damn you dust!
Close up of the photos above our chimney.
From the left, it is my fav fav fav crystal ball! It is a gift for our wedding from hubby's friends.
Then when Chlovelle was born, we received another precious moments figurine from another friend.
I know the figurine is a little tiny, but the couple is holding a little baby...
The rest are our family portraits as velle grows up.

You probably need a desktop to view this,
use your mouse to scroll left to right to view our living area.
Moving on to the right side of the house, and there is where Chlovelle's room and bathroom is.
Chlovelle's bathroom.
Allocated a small area for her clips!
Love this small space so much!
Apart from the clips, I also store LOTS of toilet paper in there.
It is amazing how big & deep the cupboards are.
And more under the sink.
Wondering how long will it last us...?
*Scroll left & right using your cursor*
This is also interactive, but you need a desktop to view.
Directly opposite the bathroom, is Miss Chlovelle's wonderland.
I think i posted lots of pictures of her room, so you all see also sian le right.
Her room didn't change much, still using her old organizer and kitchen set.
My amazing hubby fix some sort of hook from 3M (i think),
and now i can tie her curtains up.
Messy as usual.
Her toys is placed in my mum's living room back in SG,
so everytime my mother comes back this kind of mess will definitely drive her crazy.
But now the mess is in her room, i don't really bother about them. LOL
Bookcase hubby fixed up last week.
AH~ mega love how it looks like,
now velle can access the books easily.
Toddler table and chairs.
Chlovelle's work area, she does all her writing& coloring here.
She also have her own closet in the room.
Her collection of bags
Stored the toys i got from Target on top
*Scroll left & right using your cursor*
Moving to the right side of the house, you can see the kitchen.
I don't like to hang around in the kitchen, but i spent a lot of time there because i need to cook.
There is a door in the kitchen to go down to my garage.
Our shoes are all there because we always go out through the garage rather than the main door.
We also have a washer/dryer section in the kitchen.
I store our tissues there! Shiok leh, i prepared so many boxes! LOL
*Scroll left & right using your cursor*
Our dining area.
Very simple, only bought foldable chairs and table.
I know the left side looks like over crowding of wires, but I also dunno what we can do about it. LOL
Saw a door behind?
The door leads to our patio.
I try not to open the door because bugs always fly in so fast.
Maybe will the weather is cooler, we will have some relax time there (:
Last stop is our room.
Very simple nothing much.
I really want a TV in the room, can someone sponsor me?
We are planning to get a 47" 3D TV at the end of the trip, but we are quite tight, so see how la hor~
I own a dandelion that will never fly away!

Door to our bathroom and closet
*Scroll left & right using your cursor*
Just a normal bathroom.
My not very neat closet.
Don't pretend your closet 365 days is neat one ok. LOL
End of house tour! Hope you like it!

Unpacking journey - Home at Oaks Riverchase
9:56 PM
3rd August 2012, Friday
Our boxes finally arrived!
It have been 2 months since our boxes left,
it shouldn't take so long de wor~
Not sure why is there a delay,
but i am SO SO SO happy that we can sleep on our bed again.
Cleared the room, waiting for our bed to come.
I also want to thank Amelia for lending me her seahorse mattress (green one at the corner of the picture)
Branded one leh, but my back very damaged after giving birth,
hotel bed also give me backache de, so really need my own bed. LOL
The truck was really loud!
So i went down to take a look...
WOW! WHAT A HUGE TRUCK !!
I very paiseh to take too much picture because the guys are working so hard,
and the sun is scorching too!
While the guys are carrying the boxes up to our house ( and complaining at the same time),
my job is to tick tick tick!
Check that all the boxes are here! 57 of them!
Super fun, like playing bingo.
Boxes filled up our living room
And our dining area!!
MESSY!
LONG TIME NO SEE, OLD FRIEND!
YAY! After don't know how long, they finally got all our boxes up at our house.
Thankful!
We fixed up the bed frame first, then move on to the TV and the console...
Was packing hubby's games,
didn't know he bought so many already!
3 years ago, the reason why he bought a PS3 is because we wanted a blu ray player,
in the end became his gaming console too. LOL
TOILET ROLLS!
We brought a lot here, because i feel that it is more expensive here.
I think 3 pack for $5 right?
or lesser?
Don't need to shop for toilet rolls for quite some time le~
Glad
At the end of the day, we left with this pile of mess to clear.
cleared 37 boxes in a day!
I also put velle in Amelia's house for like 1-2 hours!
thanks for babysitting! Cannot work with her calling mummy mummy every few minutes...
My closet look like some pig sty still.
SUNDAY
Continue packing.....
Hubby's nerf gun is taking too much space, so I wanted to pack them in a bag.
Another picture worthy moment, so i snap his collection of nerf guns.
Nothing special, just first generation of Nerf...
But really bring back a lot of memories whereby we will go out with Jas&Kel
for nerf war in the middle of the night. LOL!
I stayed at home the WHOLE day.
Just really have to clear everything, and this is the result at the end of Sunday.
Not bad~!
Chlovelle's room is looking sweeter as we put in her organizers and toys.
We also shifted her bed ( MAD HEAVY), because her slide is taking up a lot of space.
I am thinking of putting up wall decor next week...
Need brain storm a bit first.
Her room looks clean,
but not her closet! Hahaha!
No time to hang up her clothes yet, so i just shove all in the closet try not to look at it.
Ooo! This is what i got from Ikea!
Heehee! super useful, i totally love it!
Hubby also found his netbook and gave it to me, HAPPY!
Bye lao pok asus, you serve us well.
My precious babies
I think it is passed midnight,
suddenly got feel to put up my wall stickers.
Hubby helped!
I got this from Gmarket before i came here,
PRETTY NOT?!
It is cheap, good quality plus can peel off one. Heehee!
And it matches our bedding, so coincident pls.
MONDAY
Cannot remember what i do on Monday!
But i put on qi pal for her, and ask her pretend to be waitress. LOL!
She got whiny and took her nap.
Started to pack her clips, which is in a BIG MESS!
I don't know where to start, so i just pour everything out.
And thought "What am i getting myself into. Shit."
Brain storm a little, and decide to organize them in colors.
Don't you love the bow holder? (what do you call it ah?)
Saw the tiny black heart shape clips at the bottom?
I love those! Always using them to clip up velle's baby hair at the back.
My fav clip is the one with her name on it.
LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
Got it from a fb seller, but i don't think she is selling bows anymore.
I also found our old albums, filled with memories of our previous Dallas trip.
We really look so damn young.
Hubby use to always write all this sweet sweet notes for me.
And there was once, he left a note in my phone when he went for deployment,
which ofcourse made me CRY. LOL
I finished unpacking the last box on Wednesday.
So glad velle was doing quite ok with us being so busy.....
Saw the necklace on her head? She made it herself.
It took her quite long, which gives me time to pack the stuff.
Thanks for reading!
Will post pictures of my home soon,
finally figured out how to make panorama clickable..
Happy Weekends!
