Parents teacher meeting @ PLMCCK

Today we went for her first PTM at PLMCCK.
It has been 5 months since she joined this school,
and we seem to make the right choice by placing her here.
Every morning, she will walk/march to class with confidence and
i really can feel she is looking forward to see her friends and teachers.
I really like how she feels about school everyday!
It doesn't have to be the most popular or expensive school,
but most importantly, she must love it and feel comfortable in it.
We quit going to the CC last year because we kept falling sick.
She will fall sick min twice a month.
Which is horrible and heart wrenching for me...
She is constantly on medication, and I, constantly lack of sleep.
After joining PLMCCK, her health improve drastically.
She got stronger, might be because of echinacea, or might be her age... or the environment?
I am not sure which...
But the thing is, she is strong and healthy now : D
Before we step into the classroom,
she said to us " I like school!"
Awesome isn't it?
I really love it when she says something like that.
The assistant accompany the kids while parents communicate with the teachers.

Overall she is doing very well at school.
She is responsive, and sweet to her friends.
Bossy and demanding at times, sometimes might want her friends to follow her instruction :X
She speaks up during picture talk and circle time, expressive.
She do talks a little too much at class sometimes, and have to be separately from Sera. LOL
Chinese teacher comment that she is very well behave, very bright girl.
There are also things that need improvement.
She doesn't eat well in school.
I explained that she is a late teether, that's why she isnt so keen in food.
She enter CC with only 6-8 teeth, at 27 months!
She needs to improve in her communication skills,
stutter a bit when she is anxious..
She still isn't ready to converse in chinese, but she understands the language.
After the PTM,
we went to nex for brunch, then movies!
Avengers was awesome!!!!!!!
While i was painting my nails after dinner...
Guess what hubby did with velle. LOL
He did a drawing of him and velle.
The tops are exactly the same! LOL!!!!
OMG he is damn creative la.

First attempt to write her name

Awww..
The first time she wrote her name.
Good effort i would say (:
I was writing and drawing with her before dinner,
and i taught her to write her name.
I will write a letter, and asked her to imitate me.
Not bad right? For a first timer.
Her 'H' is a little too separated, LOL
and her 'E' is totally off.
But i am here to jot down such precious memories,
so next time she can see how cute is her handwriting when she is 3. HAHA

This week this week..... What happen this week?

This week was good...... and bad.
The going to the dental part is bad. LOL.
I have to go back next week, to get my teeth done.
And i already went twice this week, sry i very scare of pain de,
so must do it separately. hahahha!
This week I spent a lot of hours in front of the com,
editing pictures, doing draft,
spent so much time on it that i did not take much pictures of velle with my phone.
And my phone like lao pok pok already!
How come it is so lag? arghhh
Today after school, serene and I, along with the girls,
we went NEX!
Walk around a little, I got the cardigan i wanted.
We also got dorayaki for the kiddos,
and velle dropped it someone and cried so badly.
It was fun! We should do this " Go to Nex after school on a Friday" thing again!
Or maybe make it a routine? LOL
A flip chart i got for her last week.
Love it because now i don't have to fill my walls with charts.

Pre-writing skills

Remember this book i got from popular?
I think it is really a great book to help toddlers practice tracing.
I went back to popular to find volume 2, but looks like they are OOS.
She completed volume 1,
and her tracing skills improved tremendously!
Practice makes perfect.
She is able to control her strength and trace slowly on the line.
She also praise herself if she a good job. LOL

I have to assure you that velle enjoys doing tracing and coloring,
and i am not forcing her to do it.
If your child is not interested, don't force them.
