Chlovelle's first ballet lesson at Ballet Academy of Texas

Today is Chlovelle's went for her first ballet lesson.
The school is just 10-15 mins away from our place....
It is crazy to wake up at 845 on a Saturday,
but this little girl woke up even earlier than that OMG.
All prepared and ready to go.
Spotted this skirt hanging in the closet,
and figure that it might match her whole ballet outfit.
Heehee!
Change into ballet shoes before heading into class.
So the teacher greeted her at the door,
and asked for her name.
"chlovelle" she said loudly. (wow so brave! i thought)
But then she refuse to enter after that. LOL
Explained to her that parents aren't allowed in class and we will be standing outside.
Can you see her? The tiniest ballerina in class.
Velle cried like twice in class because all the girls are able to do the steps,
but she can't.
A little prideful i must say, and angry with herself perhaps?
I believe she will get use to it soon (:

After ballet we went for lunch at Vista Ridge Mall!
We promised her that we will bring her for movies,
and we have to make sure we fulfill it,
if not she will go on and on and on and on about how we didn't go etc...
Very thankful for the invention of strollers,
velle took a nap in it while we just slack and walk around.
Went to try some dresses but it looks weird on me,
so i take my own dress LOL
At least looks nicer....
Woke up feeling very refreshed & energetic
Stop for some muffin at a cafe which i use to go with Lili.
Ah~ memories.
We brought her to the play area for a bit,
and she asked for korkor( fabian)
Head to the cinema for Ice Age after this picture.
Velle chose this movie instead of Brave...
Hubby was a little skeptical about it, but in the end we all had a good time laughing out LOUD.
When we laugh we really like kai huai da xiao,
but in SG we like that ppl thought we SIAO.
But over here, omg, everyone just laugh like they are home,
and if they like the movie they will clap. AWESOME!
After dinner, we brought velle to a playground Doreen recommend me.
It is really huge and clean, but i probably need to bring some insect repellent next time...
All ours to play with!
Climb climb climb! hubby said she is inspired to be a mountain climber next time. LOL
This girl so gan jiong, never wait for daddy to slide down together.
Wore white, so did not join them.
This slide is super steep!
So hubby had to go down with velle...

Next time i will prepare sports shoes for her.
The air is very dry,
so after she slide down they will be static.
And this face is after she got zap
REALLY VERY PAIN ONE!
It feels like someone flick their finger on you.
Pain.....
Very pain..... hahaha!
This sums up my wonderful Saturday!
Next week we shall go some attractions! heehee!

Ballet Class for Chlovelle!

Happy National Day!!
So happy hubby is granted an off day today,
I don't remember having such privilege previously..
So God bless you, whoever who set today as an off day.
So we finally went to register Chlovelle for her ballet class!
Was contemplating between swim or ballet lesson,
I really wanted both! But it will be too tiring for her to attend both on Saturday...
Anyways she is really excited about attending ballet,
and exclaimed PRINCESS(because of the pictures) when we enter the school.
In the evening, we went to spotlight dancewear to get her dance attire.
The really have LOTS of princessy stuff in their store.
So whole shop is just amazing, so sweet and stuff~~~~~
We were led to the back of the shop to measure her feet size.
So glad there are ballet shoes available for Chlovelle because her feet is so tiny....
Next, we move on to try her leotard.
You must be thinking "why black?!" right?
It is her school's requirement, i was feeling a little sian while choosing the leotards too!
And velle was like "NO!" , and look around at the pink ones... HAHAHAHAHA!
Anyway we grab like 10 pieces of the black ones to try...
Once we put it on her, i laughed!(see my face in the picture)
Because she look like a penguin man.........
Flutter sleeve design, i put this on her and goes like " I WANT THIS!"
We immediately feel this will be the nicest and it is so HER~
This is what we went home with, black leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes
HAHAHAHA! Penguin!
Never cross our minds that we will be looking at her, in a ballet attire looking so.... big.
Feeling really comfortable in it.
She seems like she is really looking forward to it, as she keeps talking about ballet.
Hopefully she will do good !
