Down with Pneumonia
1:19 PM
So it is already Friday,
5 long days of coughing and no signs of improvement after medication.
I started to get really worried because velle cough very frequently,
so much that she can't talk or even breathe without coughing.
I didn't manage to book her PD AGAIN,
she is very popular and busy, so i have to settle with the nurse practitioner.
Hubby asked me not to bring her in because we have couple of bad experience with NP,
but chlovelle is really feeling very awful
She would tell me " Mummy, i feel so bad...."
Her face slim down a little... SADD
This time round she isn't so scared of the clinic anymore.
So the NP came in and examiner her, i told her all chlovelle's symptoms
After listening to her chest, she said.. Chlovelle is having pneumonia (very softly)
I was like " what? what did you say? "
She repeated herself and the first thing/picture that comes to my mind was.........
Like really.
Wednesday i was told is was a common cold, and now Friday its pneumonia (lung infection).
Chlovelle didn't even have phlegmy cough.
She is put on nebulizer immediately.
We did lots of waiting. SIGH
And i did a lot of thinking too...
She wait until very pek chek. LOL
but hubby came down after work and join us.
Luckily he did, because i am on the verge of losing it.
Did the NP make a wrong diagnosis on Wed&Fri?
She doesn't have phlegms how come she need to be on nebulizer?
Lots of qns i don't even know who to ask.
So after feeding velle a little bit of food,
we went to CVS to collect her medication.
AND WE WAITED FOR DAMN LONG AGAIN.
Chlovelle have an allergy history with penicillin, also prescript by another NP when she was 1.
Then this NP prescript me a similar drug, and the pharmacist refuse to dispense for us.
Velle is sick, tired and burning a fever, we just waited at CVS for them to call the dr office.
OH MY GOODNESS.
I swear i swear if hubby wasn't there i would lose it. there and then. LOL
It's ok. Chlovelle just had her 2nd dose of whatever she is inhaling...
And she is feeling better already.
No drug allergy with the antibiotics (thank god!)
And during the night/morning, i wake up feeling very overwhelmed LOL!
I know, i am very dramatic la.
But its okay, she is getting better.
We are seeing the PD, her PD on Monday.
Hopefully everything is ok.

Little chlovelle is sick!
8:37 PM
Little Chlovelle is down with flu, which she probably caught from school.
Her cough is really phlegmy and she even puked twice this morning.
She was suppose to see her PD tomorrow, but her cough is so bad that she can't even eat w/o coughing.
So i made a call to book an appt with the nurse practitioner, and rush in 20 mins after the call.
Hopefully the med can help her have a good night sleep.
I pray that she will recover soon!
I am SO exhausted. good night.

Sick days
10:33 PM

Since last Tuesday,
Velle was cranky to the peak of Genting Highlands.
Buey tahan, keep whining and whining.
She had fever on Tues night at around 37.5,
consider as low grade fever.
The next morning her fever went away,
she temp was around 36.1 (:
But at night her temp when up again, 37.5 +/-
From then on, she was always cranky cranky cranky!!!
On thurs i skipped my class because her private had a super bad RASH!
TSK! And was cranky to the max.
I failed my module anyway, but its worth it lar.
Friday i decided to bring her to PD for her rash, but it turn out better.
Hmmm... She continued to whine till this morning.....
I had enough of guessing whats wrong with her.
Took her temperature, 37.1
Im guessing she gonna have fever soon, so i brought her down to PD.
Im feeling super happy because the PD is just opp my blk!
Walked pass the GP and a crying toddler, omg! full house inside.
Lucky the PD only had 1 patient ( ofcourse lar, cost me $65)
Dr Yap commented velle's weight which is back to 8.8kg now.
HAI~
I no mood to explain to him she lost her appetite etc..
He ask me if velle's development progress,
talking, running, eating etc etc.
She is just toooo small.
Dr yap checked her mouth and told me she is having inflammation,
thats why her fever keeps hanging around 37.5
Her private is the fungus haunting her all over again.
And the antibiotics he giving will cause diarr,
which im so worried of infecting her private.
Haiyoyoyoyo.
*cross fingers*
Really hope she doesnt have diarr,
she had nv take antibiotics before.
PRAY PRAY!
Anyway i think the antibiotics sucks,
cause she puked out her tylenol and antibiotics immediately.

Upset
5:34 PM
Feeling upset.
):
Chlovelle has allergy reaction to the antibiotics she took ( PENICILLIN)
Yesterday the nurse practitioner gave her this antibiotics because she said Velle's ears look RED.
Velle had a serious case of ear infection when she's 2 months old,
the nurse was afraid it might come back.
Today while i change her diapers before lunch,
i was shocked to see swollen rashes on her legs.
Looks really itchy to me,
but velle is as cheery as ever.
Quickly called PD to book appointment,
and baby also rush back to bring there.
Our PD, dr Tammi checked velle ears,
and said her ears look GREAT!
Damn irritating!
Her ears are fine all the while,
now she take the antibiotics cause her to have HIVES.
Its really ugly, and is spreading to the face.
Remember her party is on SUNDAY?
Hai......
Anyway,
very disappointed with the nurse again.
If you have read my blog,
its not the first time she diagnose wrongly.
So now, velle is on bennadryl to reduce itchiness of the Hives.
Pray she will be fine!!!!
Is it so suay babies tend to fall sick before big events?
Aiyer...
Beginning of the Hives,
still very mild and pink.
Medication velle is taking.
It is not suppose to be given to babies under 2,
plus PD ask me give 4ml,
which is the dosage for 5 yr old!
I research online and gave her 1/4 teaspoon instead.
Cocked up sia.
Wipes that wont hurt her nose area.
Better than those dry tissue.
And a Get-well-soon toy bought by Daddy.
