Perot Museum - Animals Inside Out
11:24 AM
Animals Inside Out, 5th Jan 2014
for their temporary exhibition; animals inside out.
The interesting thing is that all animals on display are real(once alive),
Knowing that they were once alive really give me the creeps…
Some huge ass squid….
Bones of a gazelle
Here comes the scary part..
It doesn't look very real in my pictures but when I'm there i feel pain for the animals.
( but i am sure they are already dead before they do things to their body, but… )
Here comes the camel that is spilt into 3..
I am not sure why they can spilt it so well,
but by doing that, we can see the inside (brain, teeth, nerve etc) of the camel.
I overheard a little kids saying " THIS IS THE WORST DAY EVER"
Traumatizing for the little one
It is so well preserved that in an enclosed area, i don't even smell anything.
I was expecting some sort of chemical stuff or something….
Is this how huge the camel is…
Can a camel grow to such size?
The brain
Brains of various animals
I didn't read the description properly..
But why is the human lung so black?
Smoke? Pollution?
Can you guess what is this?
Dissected cat
A lamb, and the dangling red strings is it's blood vessels
Heart
Intestines
Human internal organs…
I was kinda freak out by this (knowing it's real)
Then velle asked me loudly " Mummy, why is this here ( i told her, this is how our inside look like) ?"
Some americans were looking at me and i calmly replied
" I guess the person that passed away and decide to donate his organs"
That is the best answer i can give her at that point…. LOL
There is also a male human body on display,
too obscene to even take pictures..
Saw some crystals on display and was mesmerized by it. so pretty!
Whatchu looking at!
Till next time!

Perot Museum of Nature and Science
9:00 AM
Last weekend we went to visit a new museum at Downtown Dallas.
I am actually not a big fan of museum, but this place is more like a "science centre" to me.
A great place to visit & admission is affordable too.
Had a very heavy lunch before setting off.
Chlovelle looking very comfortable and unglam at the back of the car.
Daddy told her we are going to see the dinosaur bones, which got her really excited!
I didn't get to read their brochure so I didn't know what to expect LOL
This is how Dallas looks like.
In my opinion, it sort of look like Malaysia (That was really how i felt in my first trip back in 2008)
But i grow to love it here! Amazing place (:
Entering the highway
Road signs
Curly highways which always makes my heart goes bi boo bi bok when hubby drive on it.
A few minutes later, Downtown Dallas! Tadah~!
After coming here a few times, we finally know which area parks the cheapest.
For just 25 cents we can park for 50 mins - not bad
Took a short walk, and we reached!
A closer look at the sign, wah piang, SOLD OUT.
I wanted to take a few pictures and leave.
But hubby insist that we go in and try our luck.
Wow, they are really selling tickets inside!
Don't understand why they put Sold out at the entrance.
H2O, but chlovelle says its mickey mouse. LOL
Flash our military pass and get discounted price!
Admission for adults are $12each and $7 for kids
Beautiful view and please dont mind my face.
I was sick.
That's how we look like when we were taking pictures from down there. LOL
There are 4 levels of exhibition and we only completed like 2 ,
because chlovelle is stuck at the kids museum
Enjoying herself
Didn't let her play with the water because this area screams HFMD!!
I saw some kids mouthing the scoops and what not.
Look at the kid on the left at the far end... Is he freaking gargling>!>!>!>!
So she played at the kids area until the place close.
Chlovelle and her jump shot with a very mean looking man. LOL
A mini jump. HAHAHA
YAY! We will be back again to visit the other 2 levels!
Our family portrait is taken by tripod and wireless remote! SO MUCH LOVE!!
No need to " excuse me, do you mind taking a picture for us "
And then got a blur picture back LOL
