Oaks riverchase. Our home for 2 years.

Oaks Riverchase
This will be our home for the next 2 years.
Previously we stayed in a different apt,
but this time i wanted to try new places!
Super boring to go back the same old apt right?
One thing good about this place is that i have 2 friends staying there too!
Amelia & Candy are friends i knew since my 1st trip, super happy to be able to stay near them!

Gonna stay at the 2nd storey!
Very glad very glad, because i really need some views from my house.
But the bad thing is, when i buy grocery i need to carry them up la.

Why am i going to USA
The same reason why I was there the previous time.
Hubby going there to work, for another 2 years.
We will be stay the same state, Texas Dallas.
Same neighborhood too, just a different apartment. (:
Feeling super blessed that i received help from both Candy and Amelia this time.
This time round we did not buy 2nd hand stuff like pots/pans/ household items from the previous batch.
But both ladies offered their help. Thank you thank you!
Candy helped my settle our apt, and ordered furniture for me so we can at least have the basic
once we shift into the place. I also have to use Amelia's garage to store the items bought.
So far I already gotten :
Chlovelle's bedsheets,
home slippers (because i really feel very irky stepping on carpet)
Bedroom curtains for Chlovelle
Shower curtains for both bathroom (and it was on sale!!!)
3 bathroom rugs (also on sale)
Sofa
Chlovelle bedframe
Chlovelle twin size mattress
Foldable dining table
Dinnerware set
The rest have to wait till we reach there before making purchase.

Packing journey, Collection of boxes

Packing Journey
Boxes arrived on 26 April Thursday!
So messy! Hope to pack things up ASAP.
Started packing on 27 April (:
I continue packing while hubby is at work.
So tiring~ 27/04
28/04 - Making a lot of progress today!
Stacked the boxes all the way up to the ceiling already!
6/5- Wheeee! We are almost done packing.
I would say... hmmm 70%?
A total of 40 boxes this time!
Collection of boxes
The movers arrive at 930am this morning to collect our boxes.
This time we have much lesser stuff, only 40 boxes and only a few odd sizes...
I checked and we have like 6 large boxes of toilet papers. LOL!
But still much lesser box than 2 years ago, because we came back with 78 boxes.
What....???
Chlovelle couldn't wake up...
But couldn't fall back asleep because the movers are loud.
In a short while, 40 boxes are gone!
but they look quite awhile to wrap the odd sizes.
They did a really good job wrapping our mattress, dressing table etc
So this is how my room looks like now.
EMPTY.
Echo in the living room.
So the next few weeks, we will be living like this. LOL
And our bed. Which is REALLY uncomfortable...

Advance birthday celebration for Ting
Went over to Dad side for dinner and advance birthday celebration for Ting...
Get to see our niece again after 5 months, so cute and smiley!
She reminds me of seraphina leh. will not?
Hubby is handsome here, so i shall post it.
