Down with Pneumonia
1:19 PM
So it is already Friday,
5 long days of coughing and no signs of improvement after medication.
I started to get really worried because velle cough very frequently,
so much that she can't talk or even breathe without coughing.
I didn't manage to book her PD AGAIN,
she is very popular and busy, so i have to settle with the nurse practitioner.
Hubby asked me not to bring her in because we have couple of bad experience with NP,
but chlovelle is really feeling very awful
She would tell me " Mummy, i feel so bad...."
Her face slim down a little... SADD
This time round she isn't so scared of the clinic anymore.
So the NP came in and examiner her, i told her all chlovelle's symptoms
After listening to her chest, she said.. Chlovelle is having pneumonia (very softly)
I was like " what? what did you say? "
She repeated herself and the first thing/picture that comes to my mind was.........
Like really.
Wednesday i was told is was a common cold, and now Friday its pneumonia (lung infection).
Chlovelle didn't even have phlegmy cough.
She is put on nebulizer immediately.
We did lots of waiting. SIGH
And i did a lot of thinking too...
She wait until very pek chek. LOL
but hubby came down after work and join us.
Luckily he did, because i am on the verge of losing it.
Did the NP make a wrong diagnosis on Wed&Fri?
She doesn't have phlegms how come she need to be on nebulizer?
Lots of qns i don't even know who to ask.
So after feeding velle a little bit of food,
we went to CVS to collect her medication.
AND WE WAITED FOR DAMN LONG AGAIN.
Chlovelle have an allergy history with penicillin, also prescript by another NP when she was 1.
Then this NP prescript me a similar drug, and the pharmacist refuse to dispense for us.
Velle is sick, tired and burning a fever, we just waited at CVS for them to call the dr office.
OH MY GOODNESS.
I swear i swear if hubby wasn't there i would lose it. there and then. LOL
It's ok. Chlovelle just had her 2nd dose of whatever she is inhaling...
And she is feeling better already.
No drug allergy with the antibiotics (thank god!)
And during the night/morning, i wake up feeling very overwhelmed LOL!
I know, i am very dramatic la.
But its okay, she is getting better.
We are seeing the PD, her PD on Monday.
Hopefully everything is ok.
