Elfa and Learning Kidz
1:34 AM

Today i went to view 2 centres around Serangoon ; Elfa & Learning Kidz
Both of the centres are located near NEX Mall,
which is a little far for me to walk with Chlovelle.
I took a bus with Chlovelle, and stop near Elfa.
Got to know that Elfa and Kinderland are sister company,
but the kinderland preschool there only take in kids from 3 years onwards.
There is a private playground for the kids, but the at 1230pm,
the sun is shining directly at the PG.
Not sure the other timing, but its really HOT!
Walked in the reception area,
and this nice lady, but with a sian sian tone showed me around.
Im not sure if she is sick or what,
she seems unmotivated, merely just show me around the level,
did not explain the curriculum or whatsoever.
I have to keep asking qns.
Anyway, not very keen with the school because its like a primary layout.
Not condusive, and its like once u step out of classroom its outdoor,
just plain weird.
Another point is that the toddler shares class room with other level.
Toddler A shares a classroom with K2,
while toddler B shares a classroom with N2(i think)
I cannot imagine the noise level seriously.
Ratio is 2:8 (max)
But looking at the classroom size, no wonder the ratio is so small.
Ended my tour leaving Chlovelle name on the waiting list.
But i dont think i will put her in.
Fees are 900 per month before any subsidy,
almost the same as agape, but no enrichment at all.
Not fantastic.
Crossed a road to Learning Kidz.
Located under a blk at near serangoon ave 1.
The school is divided into 2 section,
horrible start because i went from 1 section to the other!
Poor chlovelle took off her shoes zillion times and i cannot find someone to attend to me.
Excuse me, i think your door bell need to be replaced.
Surprised that the senior teacher is taking the PG class.
Very professional, speaks well too.
But while velle is observing the PG class taking a nap,
she said "the kids orh orh"
HAHAHAHAHAH! oops.
The charts and works are not creative, mostly bought from bookshops.
RAtio is ok, fees are 650 per month before subsidy.
But not a CC i will put velle in.
So...
still got more CC to view.

Opening the red packets
1:41 AM
Thanks to all the aunties & uncles,
grandpas and grandmas for the red packet!
This year,
Chlovelle every single red packet herself!
Thank God the notes are plastic now,
its waterproof and tear-proof.
Sort of toddler proof hor? LOL!
It took her some time to realize the objective is to pull out the notes inside the packet.
At the beginning, she still happily shred the red packet instead.
A small portion of the money have been used to get her stroller,
and the rest will be deposited in her un-withdrawable OCBC acc.
:D
TY!!
