Contractions
10:08 PM
We have been having the same asian food for 3 days.
On the 2nd day,
i ate too much that i have contractions.
The contractions isnt painful,
but you can clearly feel that your belly tighten and harden,
as if your skin is being replaced by a turtle shell.
You got no choice to sit really straight,
cause once u hunch your back/lean back.
Totally can feel the hard piece in front which means u more uncomfortable.
I asked baby to feel the contractions,
and he make comments that my belly is so hard!
Went back home,
i change into my home clothing without removing my bra.
He playfully came over and brush against my boobs,
AND YOU KNOW WHAT HE SAY????!!!!!
BABY : AIYO, YOUR BREAST ALSO GOT CONTRACTIONS!

My greatest fear
2:39 PM
Sidetrack a little,
babyfied is not working today,
thus he slept with me through the night, morning and noon.
Sweetest sleep in this week.
Now, i really cant sleep well without someone beside me.
Just now when i woke up,
i couldn't feel Chlovelle moving.
I rub rub my tummy,
poke her, call her and do whatever i can.
SHE FREAKING DIDNT MOVE!!
I didnt alarm baby,
who is outside with his com,
i call and call her, rub her,
still no signs of her moving.
I seriously got really frighten and call baby loudly,
he came in, and i told him Velle not moving.
I ask him to listen her heartbeat.
He put his ear on my tummy,
no sound,
then he try another area....
Within that few secs,
i felt like i made the longest prayer to God that she is alright.
Prayer answered,
baby look up smiling telling me her heartbeat was really clear, loud and fast.
He started calling her and she moved.
.....
Why i call her she refused to move leh?
Baby said she recognise her name now,
and she move when he call now.
See, velle loves daddy.
I always thought,
having a smooth pregnancy,
which i mean is having to have the baby delivered is a sure thing.
But now, i believe its a blessing to have a baby surviving through the pregnancy,
and got to be delivered out.
And i also found that,
how much she meant to me,
and i cannot afford to lose her...
And i like the feeling that she is all OURS.
A precious little girl, Chlovelle.

Third Trimester Nightmare
2:28 PM
Being pregnant may be easy as it may seem.
Just continue what you are doing,
keep yourself occupy,
be happy, then TADAHHH
Little angel is out.
That happen only when you are dreaming (=
I believe even some mothers can have the easiest pregnancy ever,
they bound to have some difficulties at each trimester.
But if you look on the bright side of it,
it will pass you sooner than you think.
My first trimester.
Nausea feeling, extreme exhaustion, sensitive to smell.
My nausea problem isnt as great as others,
but i hate to vomit and fear it too.
Whenever i feel like vomitting, i eat,
bread or biscuit, and keep the vomit down.
It works!
Some days i couldnt even go out,
because i feel so nausea,
i'm afraid i puke on my shirt.
And i ONLY can take cars if only baby is driving.
Not that other ppl drive suckly,
but only baby drive the smoothest and not jerky at all.
I can wake and eat,
then sleep, then eat and sleep.
Like pig, keep on wanna sleep.
So damn tired as if i carry loads everyday.
And there was a time,
i conquer my nausea-ness
and when out with sour candies and medicated oil.
Once i reach the shopping mall.
WOAHH~
The smell of the mall makes me retch and retch.
My eyes got teary and i breathe thru my mouth.
Buey tahan, told baby and we went back home.
Not on purpose, but it just happens.
The thing is, the mall has no special smell.
HAHA!
My second trimester
I tell you,
it was a BREEZE man,
i was happy, cheery, glowing.
And even my cheeks were rosy.
Second trimester was love!
I eat well, even better i suppose.
Going to buffet, and kept eating.
No heartburns nothing.
Leaking colostrum is the only problem.
I woke up having a big patch on my shirt,
my bedsheet.
And it goes on and on and on.
Even if i am doing my business,
i GEK, colostrum also wanna come out.
To a point i wore my bra to sleep,
with nursing pad.
But 2nd tri was good,
tummy wasnt too big,
i move around freely.
And her kicks arent that painful still.
Adorable kicks. LOL!
Third Trimester
Halfway thru my third now.
Well, maybe its almost done!
Snap into reality that pregnant isnt a temporary thing.
Excuse me, yanwen! You are really having a baby!
They dont disappear after 9 months ok!
Its gonna come out!
Then you will go, AH!
Its a lifetime thing,
what im carrying is a lifetime commitment,
lifetime love.
Then even if you are not ready,
you SHOULD be.
you must be, you will be.
To be truthful,
i dunno how to feed a child,
cant bathe, cant burp, cant change, cant soothe
and never done any of these before.
I work with toddlers, who are tougher.
But something in you,
just tells u, you can do it!
I know its must more difficult than what im imagining now.
But please, we are alone with our newborn,
A-L-O-N-E !
Could you be feeling more frantic than us?
My worst enemy during third tri is guilt and self doubt.
What can be worst than that?
Oh and also unstable emotion.
I think is my unstable emotion leads to guilt and self doubt.
Like hey,
why are you pregnant here when you know nothing!?
You want your child to suffer right.
that kinda thinking.
But im sure every child is different,
Chlovelle HAS to adapt to our way of parenting.
There is no right way of bathing/ carrying/ feeding the child.
She just have to accomodate with us.
Maybe she will? Fit us perfectly like a puzzle.
I hope months from now,
i can tell you happily and proudly.
SHE IS A GREAT ADDITION TO OUR FAMILY
To end this,
i wanna thank my precious hubby.
For supporting me always.
He's the best! Best that he can be!
Not perfect, but just nice for me (=

Its a tuesday. im offically 31 weeks
1:37 PM
Last night baby came home telling me he will be away for 3 days.
Starting from next week monday to wednesday.
I cant remember the place he is going,
but he will be there for live-firing.
It will be another 3 dreadful days.
Gosh.
Which also means my tuesday checkup needs to be postponed.
>.<
I must be more diligent already.
Velle's clothing is not all done yet.
I think left her "gai gai"clothings.
I also need to double check the stuff she needed,
i dont think i got everything yet too.
I've been reading the book that i bought
"What to expect in the first year"
I think its exactly what i needed,
re-reading all the newborn reflexes and stuff,
I seem to return all my knowledge back to the lecturer. LOL
But i will try the reflexes,
should be damn fun!
I am also thinking about breastfeeding problems.
I intend to let her be a full breastfeeding child.
If i am able to commit, probably till the age of 1.
But again,
i have the option to tell the nurse in the hospital to help me
take care of chlovelle in the night, which means FORMULA milk.
What if after the night she prefers formula,
what if she likes the artifical nipple?
*scratch head
I didnt want her to take pacifer too.
But i still bought incase she really really needs something to soothe her.
I wish i can play cheat and look into the future,
and see how will she be like.
Easy or fussy?
Then i'll see all her patterns and tackle accordingly.
But i know there is no cheat sheet selling outside,
because my Chlovelle is one and only and very unique...
Guess i will just play by ear,
go along with her and find out her pattern.
Should be fun? HAHAHA
Few weeks from now,
maybe my hair will be all tangled up,
me and baby with dark dark eye rings.
Who knows?
Or maybe we will stay as per normal,
and Velle adapt to us instead? LOL!
* Everytime if i have a opportunity to make a wish,
i wish that our family will stay healthy and happy.
And she will be a healthy happy little girl.
Love,
