Kite Making with Chlovelle
12:10 AM
So Chlovelle needed a kite for her show&tell in school tomorrow.
Initially I wanted to buy a cheapo kite from those dollar shop(if i can find),
and let her bring it to school.
But then hubby needed the car today, so no choice i have to make it myself.
So this is what it looks like halfway done.
Chlovelle says that her kite must have stripes, so stripes it is.....
Don't see the stripes simple simple like that,
the stripes are made up of different color paper hor~
She helped in slicing the paper into strips using a paper cutter
( Thank god for the invention of paper cutter whooo hoooo~)
I use disposable chopsticks for the skeleton of the kite.
Called hubby too late, he told me i am suppose to chop one of the stick shorter so
it will be a rhombus instead of diamond (WHAT?!)
Need to so chim one meh?
I use gorilla glue and tape to secure the chopsticks
For the intersection of the kite, i use thread to coil around and around.
HAHAHA but still very wobbly la.
If hubby is home, he will probably do a better job.
Thought that the kite look very plain,
so i printed a picture of her i took today,
and she wrote her name herself!
Don't you think the heart shape she drew is very ke ai????
For the tail, i used leftover ribbon from scrapbooking and printing kitty bows for it.
Kitty bows are ALWAYS the cutest.
TADAHHHHHH~~~ The final product.
Not bad right? *fling hair*
Chlovelle was awesome, i was scratching my head because i couldn't find a decent string
for her to hold the kite with, but she ran to my room and dug out some string
that i totally forgotten. so cute so cute
Cute little kite will be going for a war tomorrow.
Probably left with her picture at the end of the day LOL!
